Only 5 more weeks to go!
Our nursery theme is Classic Pooh; as you can see, I tend to favor Tigger!
Baby Poling gave us a scare last week; for a couple of days I didn't feel any movement. Rather disconcerting after feeling all those gymnastics she had been doing!
So, off to the hospital we went at 7 pm....
I was hooked up to some "fetal monitoring." As soon as the nurse put on the ultrasound monitor, Baby Poling decided to "wake up." The nurse couldn't even keep up with which side the heartbeat was on! Apparently, she knew something was going on and it was all about her! By 9:30, we were able to leave. After a long lecture from the midwife about waiting two days to come in!
A random side note: A nurse friend of mine told me about an old wives' tale...
"The baby will be born two weeks after she is very still."
Does this mean she is going to have a February birthday instead of one in March? I guess we will have to wait and see!
